Kevin Barnes
Before starting Barnes Management & Analytics, Kevin transitioned out of his financial planning practice, where he owned and managed his own business and spent 26 years in the financial services industry. While serving his clients in business planning and financial planning, Kevin held the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, which he received from the CFP Board after passing his exam at the University of Missouri at Kansas City in January of 2006. Clients’ AUM exceeded 100M during his career.
Prior to his career in financial planning, Kevin spent 13 years as a television sportscaster in Iowa, Nebraska, and Arkansas. Kevin graduated from Iowa State University, where he obtained a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. Kevin covered many sporting events during his sports broadcasting career including:
